KTP to develop new social media tools for law firm

Law firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain turned to the University of Westminster for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership to boost their online presence and social media tools.

The challenge

Reynolds Porter Chamberlain is a large firm of City lawyers with expertise across insurance, reinsurance, commercial and corporate legal services. They needed help establishing a consistent reputation across all their people, sharing insights with colleagues to enhance their collective expertise.

How did we help?

Westminster Business School helped Reynolds Porter Chamberlain develop their social media tools and techniques by creating a social-based intranet that, like a Twitter stream, allowed them to share knowledge within the firm without bombarding people with emails.

The results

The intranet proved to be an efficient way of enabling partners to make use of individual insights and use them collectively for the overall benefit of their clients.
