Architecture, Interiors and Urban Design

Built environment
Our Centre for the Study of the Production of the Built Environment (ProBE) critically explores the production of the built environment as a social, environmental and historical process.
Media
Our Communications and Media Research Institute (CAMRI) produces world-leading research exploring the media's political, economic, social and cultural significance across the globe.
Cyber security
Our Cyber Security Research Group (CSRG) explores areas such as the practical applications of IoT, anomaly detection, data security, risk assessment and the theoretical foundations of cyber security.
Cognitive computing
Our Cognitive Computing Research Group (CCRG) investigates areas such as semantic computing, pattern and search recognition, deep learning, question-answering and conversational user interfaces.
