Student volunteers

The University of Westminster is home to over 20,000 students from 169 nations, and more than one in five of our students are interested in volunteering and work experience opportunities.

Through their course and extra-curricular activities, our students have developed specialist skills and knowledge that can benefit your third-sector organisation.

Advertise your volunteering opportunity

We advertise and facilitate volunteering, voluntary work and other vacancies with over 300 different organisations each year, connecting your organisation with our diverse student body in the heart of central London.

Engage

Our Engage careers and vacancy management system provides you with the platform to promote your organisation and volunteering roles among our student population. To get started, register your organisation. Please note, to advertise volunteering opportunities and to use any of our services, you must meet our Terms of Service.

Get involved

We are committed to inspiring the next generation of highly employable, globally engaged, and socially responsible citizens. By partnering with us, your organisation can play a pivotal role in raising tomorrow’s leaders, harnessing students’ enthusiasm, energy and fresh ideas to make a real difference to your community.

Alongside our core services, we can help you to:

  • reach specific groups of students through our various media platforms and targeted emails
  • access our campuses through lunchtime sessions, fairs or other employability events
  • organise events including one-off volunteering opportunities
  • acquire technical expertise when drafting job descriptions for volunteers

Volunteering events

We hold volunteering fairs, panel events and workshops at several of our campuses throughout the year. This provides a platform for your organisation to interact and explore possible partnerships with our talented students.
