Disability support

We’re committed to creating a supportive and accessible working environment, which allows colleagues and students to achieve their full potential, irrespective of disability.

Support for students with disabilities

If a student has a disability or a condition that affects their studies, the Disability Learning Support (DLS) Team offer confidential support to help students make the most of their studies. There are Disability Advisers available to help students, as well as Disability Tutors at each campus who can answer questions related to specific courses. Each college also has a Library Disability Support Representative.

Support for colleagues with disabilities

The University of Westminster actively welcomes disclosure from colleagues and job applicants with disabilities. Colleagues are encouraged to actively seek advice and support via our Human Resources Advisory Team and Safety, Health and Wellbeing Team.

Within the workplace we will make reasonable adjustments to employment arrangements and ensure that colleagues are not at any disadvantage when compared to a non-disabled person.
