Academic requirements

Undergraduate exchange students

You'll need to demonstrate that you meet the following academic requirements:

  • You must be in good academic standing.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older when you begin the programme.
  • If you are a student from a country using the GPA system, you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. If you wish to study subjects from the School of Arts and the School of Media and Communication, we require a cumulative 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • If you are from a country with a different grading system, you must have an average of a C grade, or good, or equivalent. If you wish to study subjects from the School of Arts and the School of Media and Communication you must have an average B grade, or very good, or equivalent.

Postgraduate exchange students

You'll need to demonstrate that you meet the following academic requirements:

  • You must be a graduate and hold an undergraduate degree.
  • If you are a student from a country using the GPA system, you must have graduated with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. If you wish to study subjects from the School of Arts and the School of Media and Communication, you must have graduated with a cumulative 3.0 grade on a 4.0 scale.
  • If you are from a country with a different grading system, you must have graduated with a C grade, or good, or equivalent. If you wish to study subjects from School of Arts and the School of Media and Communication, you must have graduated with a B grade, or very good, or equivalent.
