Cross-lingual information retrieval and the multi-lingual semantic web

This PhD study, research and potential Thesis have been addressing the contemporary challenge of and research questions in regards with accuracy and relevance of information retrieval on a multi-lingual Web. It combines fundamentals in mathematics (eg, Formal Concept Analysis), query languages, query processing and information retrieval, as well as current aspects of the Semantic Web (eg, the W3C SKOS/RDF language specification, Linked Open Data project).

This PhD study, research and potential Thesis are addressing the contemporary challenge of and research questions in regards with semantic analysis and recognition of contents on a TV. It combines fundamentals in Information Theory, Complexity Theory, Multi-media Information Retrieval, Symbol Grounding Problem (Steve Harnad), Lattice and Group Theories in Mathematics, together with aspects of signal processing and Semantic Sensor Networks (see also W3C recommendations).
