The University of Westminster has various categories of prizes.
- University prizes – All University students are eligible to be nominated for these prizes
- College, School & Course Prizes – These prizes are available to students at either College, School or most usually course level
- External prizes – These prizes are usually course specific and awarded annually. Occasionally a student may be awarded an external prize on a one-off basis. If we are able to verify this then it may also be included in the HEAR
Students cannot nominate themselves for prizes. Academic prizes are normally awarded at the end of the academic year and successful students will be notified in writing by the Ceremonies and Conferment team or by the relevant school. Excellence Award winners are identified following the July assessments and notified in the following semester.
