OPEN 2017
OPEN 2017, part of the London Festival of Architecture, showcased the emerging talent of students from our Architecture BA Honours, Interior Architecture BA Honours, Designing Cities: Planning and Architecture BA Honours, Architectural Technology BSc Honours, Architecture (MArch) RIBA Pt II) and Architecture MA courses.
The OPEN 2017 exhibition included student work from first year to graduation, including architecture drawings, models and fabrications, ranging from the handmade to virtual realities and from small scale to full size.
Themes explored by 2017’s exhibiting students included Home Acts, Housings and Manifesto. Attendees were able to see the restored Marylebone studios as well as the state-of-the-art Fabrication Laboratory.

PG 2017
PG 2017 featured work from five Master’s programmes – Architecture MA, Architecture and Environmental Design MSc, Interior Design MA, International Planning and Sustainable Development MA and Urban Design MA – alongside work from Westminster Working Cultures and 2017’s sustainable urban design charrette in Florence, Italy.
Taking place in our architecture studios, PG 2017 offered an insight into the nature of research in architecture and the built environment, ranging from the intellectually challenging world of critical theory to the many exciting possibilities of research by design.
