The University’s Creative Enterprise Centre will be hosting its first Diversity and Inclusion Festival on 21 November at Regent Street Campus.
The Westminster Diversity and Inclusion Festival, hosted by the Creative Enterprise Centre, is an exciting event to celebrate and advocate for diversity and inclusion in entrepreneurship, and the creative, tech, media and digital industries.
This year, the festival theme is ‘Agents of Change’ to celebrate and showcase the inspirational individuals and organisations moving the conversation forward and advocating for inclusion and equal representation across all social, physical and identity intersections.
The Festival, open to the public and University of Westminster students, staff and alumni, is taking place at Regent Street Campus and includes an array of offerings throughout the evening.
An industry panel discussion will take place with leaders of organisations driving transformative change towards more diverse and inclusive work place cultures and recruitment practices.
Additionally, there will be inspirational speeches from speakers across the creative and digital industries, live spoken word and music performances from renowned creative performers and a networking dinner and drinks buffet.
Speakers on the evening include the Co-Founder of We are Carve and The Beyonce Experience Aaron Carty, Journalist and Digital Content Producer at Attitude Jamie Wareham and Founder of YSYS Deborah Okenla.
