The Westminster Alumni Awards, which are organised by the Alumni Relations team at the University of Westminster, are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the University’s most accomplished graduates and highlight the variety of ways they make a real impact across the globe.
As part of the Awards, alumni from the University of Westminster, as well as from Westminster’s predecessor institutions including the Polytechnic of Central London and Regent Street Polytechnic, and its Transnational Education partner institutions such as Westminster International University in Tashkent and the Informatics Institute of Technology in Sri Lanka, can apply to one of six categories. These include Contribution to the Creative Industries Award, Entrepreneurial Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, Recent Graduate Award and Social Impact Award.
Alumni can also be nominated for an award by students, other alumni or members of the public.
The Awards give graduates a platform to share their success across the University and beyond, raising their profile within their own personal and professional networks.
Shortlisting panels consider all eligible applications and select finalists in each category. The winner of each category is then decided by a public vote later in the year.
