Event speakers
Nathan Ghann
Nathan Ghann is a dedicated advocate for equity and inclusion within the Higher Education sector. He is currently Programmes Director at the Educate Group, a social enterprise committed to addressing educational disparities in underrepresented communities. With a background spanning over a decade in Higher Education,
Nathan holds a role as an Associate Consultant and Facilitator of Advance HE’s Diversifying Leadership Programme. In this capacity, he has adeptly coached over 50 professionals, guiding them towards career success in their respective fields.
Earlier in his career, Nathan made notable contributions as the Student Success Lead at the University of Hertfordshire where he led institution wide efforts to close racialized degree awarding gaps. There, he founded the University's inaugural Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Staff Network, driving strategic change and playing a pivotal role in the Race Equality Charter submission team.
As a compelling speaker, Nathan offers insightful and passionate thought leadership. He also hosts the 'Belong in HE' podcast on Spotify, providing engaging and influential content in the field of higher education.
