Access and Participation Plans

At University of Westminster it remains our mission to ensure students from different backgrounds fulfil their potential and contribute to a sustainable, equitable and healthier society.

We have a long history of commitment in supporting underrepresented and disadvantaged students to access, success in and progress from higher education, derived from our founders in 1838.

Prospective and continuing students should refer to the Access and Participation Plan that relates to their year of entry, which is valid for the duration of their course. The Plan sets out how we will improve equality of opportunity for underrepresented and disadvantaged groups.

We take you through our ambition for change, what we plan to do to achieve this change and the targets we have set ourselves to ensure progress. Our plan outlines our investment to make that change possible. We submit yearly monitoring documents to the Office For Students (OfS) to demonstrate progress towards our commitments. We are monitored each year to ensure we meet our commitments.
