Documentary Photography Photojournalism MA – 2019

The course has a range of knowledgeable lecturers that come from independent photographic practices, curatorial leaders, writers and book publishers. The academic structure provided by these tutors gives students the tools to explore various opportunities after graduation. While on this course, I became very interested in photography curation. The tutors are very supportive and provide excellent critiques of students’ practices which challenges students to think critically about their orientation.

In 2018, we took a trip to Paris for the Paris Photo exhibition. It was a delight seeing so many international photographers, many of which we had been looking at their photography on the course. It was great to listen to these artists and curators talk at public programming events.
