Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I chose the University of Westminster for its outstanding reputation for academic excellence and innovative teaching methods. The central location in London not only provided a vibrant and culturally rich environment but also numerous opportunities for professional development. The expertise of the faculty members further solidified my decision, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. The unique advantage of receiving 9 ACCA exemptions alongside pursuing my MSc streamlined my academic journey. Additionally, the university's economic fee structure, compared to other institutions, made it a practical and accessible choice, aligning perfectly with my academic and financial goals. Collectively, these factors positioned the University of Westminster as the ideal institution for my academic and professional aspirations.

How has your experience been studying in London?

Studying in London has been an enriching and transformative experience for me as an international student. While it brought forth numerous challenges, each hurdle presented an opportunity for growth and adaptation. Navigating through the complexities of a new environment, I discovered resilience and resourcefulness within myself, honing skills essential for survival in a foreign land. Moreover, the culturally diverse landscape of London exposed me to a myriad of perspectives, traditions, and experiences, fostering a deep appreciation for global interconnectedness and understanding. Undoubtedly, my journey has been akin to a roller coaster ride, marked by highs of personal growth and lows of overcoming obstacles. Overall, my experience studying in London has been a profound and invaluable chapter in my academic and personal development.

My experience with the course has been immensely enjoyable, particularly due to the engaging lectures and collaborative moments with my peers. One aspect I've found particularly enriching is the knowledge-sharing dynamic among fellow classmates. The Q&A sessions have been a highlight, creating a competitive yet stimulating environment where the entire class actively participates. I appreciate the professors' approach to brainstorming, as it not only keeps us on our toes but also fosters a sense of curiosity and critical thinking. 

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

I have found the academic and lecturer support during my studies to be truly commendable. The lecturers have been incredibly supportive, taking the time to address any doubts or queries that students may have. I appreciate their responsiveness, as they promptly reply to emails, ensuring a quick turnaround for any concerns. The transparency displayed by the lecturers has been particularly valuable, creating an environment where communication is open and students feel well-informed about their academic journey.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

My advice to someone considering studying at Westminster would be to work smart and make the most of the university's resources. Many students might not be fully aware of the available on-campus resources, so take the time to explore and utilise them to their maximum potential. Additionally, consider completing the free certificate courses provided by the university for skill development, as they can enhance your academic and professional profile. It's crucial to prioritise your mental and physical health, so make sure to maintain a balance between your studies and well-being. Lastly, stay focused on your goals and trust that with dedication, things will fall into place.
