The university has sponsored international trips related to my course, providing many valuable practical experiences. I've also gained practical experience in London, demonstrating the university's commitment to our growth and development both locally and globally. These opportunities have truly set the University of Westminster apart.
How has your experience been studying in London?
My course is taught in the Regent Campus, right in the heart of London. It has been an amazing gateway for me to explore the diversity, witness the beauty of this incredible city, and connect with new people.
What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?
As a Criminology MA student, I have appreciated the perfect balance between theoretical knowledge and real-world insights. It wasn't just about learning concepts; it was about understanding the basis of what's happening in our society. Interacting with people from different walks of life has given me a unique perspective on how the world functions. This course has deeply enlightened me, shaping my understanding of criminology in a profound way.
How have you found academic support as part of your studies?
The lecturers in my course have been the backbone of my studies. Their support has been instrumental in helping me achieve my desired grades and gain a clear understanding of the subject matter. They have always been there for me, providing personalised attention and offering the opportunity to meet whenever I needed help with assignments or had trouble understanding any module. It's because of them that this course has been unlike anything I have experienced before. They made everything possible.
Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?
Absolutely! The advanced technology and the libraries, both physical and digital, have been a great support for my research and studies.

The University Careers and Employability Service is super easy to access and full of opportunities. They have all the facilities you need to prepare for interviews and career consultations, as well as finding internships or mentors. I've taken advantage of their services, and they have everything you need to kick-start your professional journey.
Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course
I attended a meeting in the UK Parliament Square. It was an eye-opening experience, giving me valuable insight into the practical application of the concepts I was learning. It was a truly unbelievable experience.
What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?
This university will change your life. Stepping into this university will have a huge impact on you. So, my advice is simple: seize every chance, embrace the experience, and make the most of your time at Westminster.

Westminster has not only empowered and polished me but also fostered personal growth and nurtured self-expression. It has been an incredible journey of self-discovery for which I am truly grateful.
