I have found the academic and lecturer support to be excellent. The academic staff here are experts in their fields and are always willing to go above and beyond to help their students succeed.

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

There are several reasons why I choose the University of Westminster. One of the main ones was definitely to study in London. As an international student, I was drawn to the vibrancy and diversity of the city, and I knew that studying here would be an incredible experience. I also loved the fact that the University of Westminster has several campuses throughout the city, which makes it easy to explore different areas and immerse yourself in different parts of London.

How has your experience been studying in London?

My experience studying in London has been truly amazing. London is an incredible city, full of opportunities and excitement, and it's been a privilege to be able to live and study here.

One of the things I love most about studying in London is the diversity of people that you can meet. There are people from all over the world here, which creates a really vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. It's been amazing to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and to learn from them both inside and outside of the classroom.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

As a student, I find the Tourism and Events Management course to be very engaging, thanks to its well-structured curriculum that strikes a perfect balance between academic theory and practical exercises. The course is designed to captivate and challenge students in the best possible way. One of the highlights for me is the frequent field trips across the UK and day trips around London, which are both informative and enjoyable. These excursions provide an excellent opportunity to apply what we learn in the classroom in a real-world setting, while bonding with our classmates.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

As a student at the University of Westminster, I have found the academic and lecturer support to be excellent. The academic staff here are experts in their fields and are always willing to go above and beyond to help their students succeed. One of the things I really appreciate about studying here is that the lecturers are very approachable and open to feedback. They are always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and listen to any problems that you may be facing. Whether it's in-person during office hours or via email, I have always found them to be responsive and helpful.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

Outside of my course, I've been involved in a few different activities but the ones that have really stood out to me are the sports societies.
I've always been a big fan of sports, and I was really excited to find out that the university has a great range of clubs and teams to get involved with. I joined a few different clubs over the course of my studies, including basketball, volleyball, and badminton, and I have to say, it was an absolute blast.
One of the things I loved most about the sports clubs was the social aspect. I met so many great people, while staying active and healthy.
