How has your experience been studying in London?

Studying in London has been wonderful as I have had the opportunity to meet many people with different lifestyles and ideas. London can be very a fast-paced place and calm at the same time, which I believe is the perfect balance for any student who might need a little bit of both at times.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

As a marketing student, I have enjoyed all the chances in which we put our research and ideas into practice, for example by creating products that we then pitch to our fellow teachers as if they are famous brands.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

It is wonderful how easily you can speak to your lecturers and ask questions or share the worries that you might have, or maybe even just have a chat. Most teachers will do anything in their power to help you understand what you did not understand in class and give you the necessary tools to achieve success.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The libraries are always very peaceful and allow you to focus. The tech labs are also very comfortable and have all the necessary equipment, and I personally love the fact that you can use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

Be ready to go above and beyond in your classes and coursework as it will be one of the main things that your teachers will identify you by. Don’t be afraid to be the only one who puts their hand up in a lecture or seminar to give an answer or ask a question because this is how you will stand out and be known both by your classmates and your teachers!

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

There is always somebody ready to help you if you ask for it.

What was the most surprising or unexpected aspect of your Westminster experience?

I was surprised by the number of classes we had as I would have always wanted more but at the same time, this just meant that I had more time to develop extra skills, get to know myself better in a different country and go out and explore!
