History BA – 2023
I just feel so grateful and lucky to have the opportunity to study here!
Why did you choose the University of Westminster?
The location is perfect. It is in the very heart of London and is easy to get to by public transport. I love the course and the look of the Regent Street campus.

I have loved it. It’s very easy to travel wherever you need to go, such as archive rooms, museums, and libraries. There are lots of places to eat and have a break with friends. London is a fantastic city with so much history and has always held special memories for me. It is really great that I have had the opportunity to study here.
What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?
I have enjoyed the variety of subjects we get to study. Being based in London, you have the opportunity for some great field walks and trips. I have also enjoyed the assignments and felt that I have learnt a lot by doing them.
How have you found academic support as part of your studies?
The academic staff are so supportive and helpful, approachable and understanding. They have helped me immensely during my studies. In their classes, they have also demonstrated how passionate they are about their subjects.
Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?
I think the library and online library have a lot of great materials. The classrooms at Regent Campus are popular, and the common areas are great spaces to grab a great coffee, chill with friends or even work on assignments. The on-campus Gallery Café has some delicious food at great prices. We are also lucky to be next to Regent Street Cinema, which is an amazing piece of British history.
Tell us about your experience of using the University Careers and Employability Service
They have great workshops and talks, which are always given by people with real-world experience and knowledge. I have used the mentoring scheme, which has made me feel much more confident to pursue my dream career as a museum curator! I also plan to continue my studies at Westminster by starting the MA in Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture.
What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?
Make the most of student discounts, offers and facilities the University provides its students with. Be serious about employability and make the most of events and support available to you. Make sure you know who to contact or where to go if you have any difficulties or need extra support. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
