Business of Film MA – 2024
I was pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to attend major events such as e the London Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival. It’s been an amazing way to immerse myself in the industry.
Why did you choose the University of Westminster?
I chose the University of Westminster for the special partnership the Business of Film MA offers with the British Film Institute and Regent Street Cinema, providing invaluable industry exposure. As a filmmaker and creative professional, I was eager to deepen my understanding of the business side of the international film industry, particularly in securing funding for Asian films. The course aligned perfectly with my goals.
Additionally, the central London location offers access to industry events and networking opportunities. The practical approach of the course, which includes pitching film ideas and attending major film festivals such as the London Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival and benefitting from opportunities with the BFI, made Westminster the ideal choice for me.

Our lecturers, who are filmmakers themselves, bring a wealth of experience and practical knowledge to the classroom, making every lesson relevant and engaging.
