What are you doing now?

I am working as Management Assistant at the music management company Eaves Music Group. We manage top-tier producers and songwriters, who work on a daily basis with renowned international artists such as Bastille, Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, IVE, James Arthur, Rag 'N Bone Man, Tom Grennan, James Bay, Jorja Smith, Normani, FKA Twigs and many more.

What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster?

Thanks to Westminster I could build a very strong professional network. The course is very up-to-date and the guest lecturers are all actively working in the industry, which always makes the content relevant and interesting. All the skills I gained from studying at Westminster helped me secure a job in one of the most impacted industries by the COVID pandemic.

Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?

I strongly recommend Westminster as a place to study because of the international connections you will make. All your coursemates come from different places and backgrounds, and that will enrich your experience from day one.

What was the best thing about being a student in London?

The amount of things happening at the same time! From events to exhibitions and conferences, being at the right place at the right time is key to securing a job in the field you want. London is one of the most relevant cities in the world for the creative industries, so being able to be in the right place at the right time made a huge difference in my career.

What advice would you give someone thinking of pursuing a similar career to you?

Network, network, and network! Don't be afraid to respectfully approach someone you admire or want to connect with, both in person or online. You never know who that person knows. And also be kind and grateful - that will take you anywhere you want!
