The dedication of the academic staff has been inspiring. With offices next to the design studios, they are quick to respond to any queries and organise one to one meetings when necessary. The significant contact time with tutors has meant that I have always felt supported.
Why did you choose the University of Westminster?
I based my university choice on location, availability of resources and my initial impression. From this, it was quickly very clear that Westminster was an obvious choice. The campus is in central London, the facilities are incredible and we have dedicated tutors. These gave me a clarifying sense of what I was looking for in a university.
How has your experience been studying in London?
The richness of experiences, and the diversity of people and organisations, makes London a prime environment to live and study from. For me, it has been an experience that has facilitated my personal growth and has driven me to find the opportunities that the city provides.
What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?
The course has pushed me in every area of study. From the conceptual to the technical aspects of architecture. The tutorials have been an invaluable resource for guiding me towards new ways of working and thinking. While challenging, I have found the rigour of the course to be an essential way to learn new skills. I have discovered a passion for digital techniques that will undoubtedly shape my future work.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?
The fabrication lab associated with the architecture course is a workshop facility that features numerous advanced tools for designing. With knowledgeable staff on hand, it is a facility with an expanse of resources.
Tell us about your experience of using the University Careers and Employability Service
I spent a week of work experience at an architecture practice in London, which was organised by the University's Careers and Employability Service. It was a great opportunity to get experience in a professional setting, and to get a better sense of the industry in general.
What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?
Westminster offers a high-quality experience of education. With the commitment of the staff and proximity of all that London has to offer, it is a choice that will lead to personal growth both within and outside of the University. I would highly recommend the University to anyone who may wish to apply.
