About the event

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Westminster is proud to present our series of taster lectures for 2023.

These mini-lectures, designed and presented by senior academics in each subject field, provide a taster of what it’s like to study a subject area at university. This is a fantastic opportunity for students who want to explore their favourite subjects at a higher level and identify if they would like to pursue it at university.

In this session, we'll explore how communication poses challenges, even more so if people involved come from different cultural settings and don't share the same set of values. This session will explore these challenges and present some strategies to overcome them.

This event is free to attend and is open to all students currently studying a Level 3 qualification. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend.
