When is my Speaking Test?

We usually schedule all test components, including the speaking test, on the same day, in the same place. Because Cambridge English speaking examiners are managed by Cambridge Assessment, the speaking test may not be on the same day as your main exam. It may be scheduled before or after your main exam date or we may have to reschedule it due to examiner availability. Please check the date of your speaking test before registrations close. Contact us if you have any problems with dates.

When will I get my results?

Results are released within a results release window. The length of the window depends on the exam you are taking and it is usually around two weeks long.

For paper-based exams, results release windows normally start four to five weeks after the exam date.

For computer-based exams, results release windows normally start about two weeks after the exam date.

When you book your exam, you will receive a Confirmation of Entry document, telling you the final date by which your results will be available.

Certificates are dispatched by Cambridge Assessment English within three weeks after results are released.

We will send you an email once we have received your certificate to arrange collection or posting.

Late entries

Applications submitted after the test closing date are subject to availability and may not be accepted.

What if I need to cancel or transfer to another date?

Requests to cancel must be received before the test closing date.

All requests to cancel or transfer your exam are subject to a £40 admin fee, must be made in writing to [email protected] and be received by 3pm on the test closing date.

No cancellations or transfers can be made after the closing date.
