International School Undergraduate Excellence Award – September 2025

The International School Excellence Award is available for undergraduate students who are currently studying or who have recently graduated from an International School based outside of the UK. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and show passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving students, covering £2,500 towards one year of your full time Bachelor’s tuition fees.

International Undergraduate Full-time September Part Fee
Amount

£2,500 Tuition Fee Award paid directly to the University towards your tuition fees in your first semester. Please note that you will only receive this award for the first year of your studies. Awardees will be liable for full fees in the subsequent years of their study.
This amount cannot go towards the £5,500 deposit payment required to secure your CAS (student visa).

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply applicants must:

  • Be classified as overseas fee status and hold an offer for a full time Bachelors course starting in September 2025
  • Be studying or have graduated from an International school (one offering an international curriculum) that is located outside the UK
  • Be holding an offer based on an international qualification (see academic criteria below)

Please note that you are NOT eligible to apply for this scholarship if you fall into one or more of the below categories:

  • If you are applying for a Bachelor’s programme with an integrated foundation year
  • If you are applying for an International Summer School or Study Abroad Programme
  • If you are receiving sponsorship or funding from an external organisation or governmental body (excluding loan schemes such as US Federal Aid or Lanekassen)
  • If you are eligible for any other discount on your fees such partner student discount or EU Qualifications Award.

Applicants must have accepted their offer at the University and made the University of Westminster their firm choice by 30 June.

Criteria

Applicants will need to demonstrate academic excellence and have grades that are significantly above the minimum requirement for their course of study. Applicants should also show a passion for their chosen subject.

You must be holding an offer on the basis of one of the following qualifications: A Levels, International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), US High School Diploma plus SAT/AP/ACT, Canadian, Australian or new Zealand High School Diploma. We will also consider students with the European Baccalaureate Diploma (EB).
