Nomiki Bibliothiki is the largest legal publishing, education and technology organisation for the legal and business community. It produces editorials and offers professional trainings to optimise the work and productivity of lawyers and businesses.

Led by Dr Ioannis Glinavos, Senior Lecturer at WLS, the asynchronous education course looks at legal aspects of investing in UK businesses and is aimed at lawyers, accountants, investment advisers, business and bank executives in Greece. Completing the course will allow students to attain a core understanding of the legal aspects of the investment climate in the UK and will equip them with the tools necessary to advise others seeking to enter the British market.

The program consists of three modules, covering key aspects of company law, investor rights, along with financing methods, security issues, and tax implications of investments. Each lecture contains videos, audio segments in Greek, with full reports available in Greek and English.
After finishing all the modules, the successful participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the University of Westminster.

Talking about the partnership between the University and Nomiki Bibliothiki, Dr Glinavos said: “Short e-courses are an excellent way to deliver executive education and allow expertise present in the University to reach different audiences. The course fills an essential gap in business knowledge overseas by explaining the post-Brexit UK investment environment. Such courses support the achievement of the University’s knowledge exchange objectives and our ambitions to widen participation in education.”
