In his acceptance speech Nick said: "I am honoured to receive this award, not only because this is a prestigious organisation but also because I knew Kevin a little and I read some of his stories. From what I knew of Kevin he was a lovely man and a great journalist, and it does IMarEST great credit that they should remember Kevin annually through this award. Thank you to IMarEST for the award and for protecting Kevin’s legacy."
