University of Westminster signs progression agreement with Paris School of Business

Westminster Business School has signed a progression agreement during a visit to Paris School of Business (PSB) on 16 March, which was founded in 1974 and is cited as one of the top post-baccalaureate schools in France.

The new agreement between Westminster Business School and Paris School of Business was signed by Dr Katalin Illes, Associate Head of Westminster Business School, and Philippe Jamet, Dean of Paris School of Business. The agreement will see students from PSB progress to the final year of the Business Management BA Honours and Global Trade and Business BA Honours courses at the University of Westminster. It is part of a longstanding relationship between the two institutions, stretching back over 12 years.

Dr Katalin Illes and Dr Karen Jackson, Assistant Head of the School of Organisations, Economy and Society, met with colleagues at the Paris School of Business on 16 March, where they discussed the next stages of their partnership.  

Founded in 1974, Paris School of Business is known as one of the top post-baccalaureate schools in France, and its Grand Ecole Program offers a five-year course which leads to an official Masters-level degree. The degree is also internationally accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Business Graduates Association (BGA).

Talking about the progression agreement, Dr Katalin Illes said: “I am very pleased to be signing the latest progression agreement with Paris School of Business. Our partnership is based on over a decade of working towards a common goal of providng an excellent student experience. Maintaining and deepening links with our European partners is central to our internationalisation strategy.”

Philippe Jamet added: “By renewing our historic partnership, the University of Westminster and Paris School of Business want to reaffirm our shared commitment on fundamental academic values. In a time when humanity faces huge environmental, geopolitical, and cultural challenges, we recognize that European higher education institutions must join forces to create avenues for responsible and enlightening student experiences.”
