The University of Westminster has a longstanding relationship with the Indian School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ISME) and the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI), and it was pleased to welcome representatives from ATLAS SkillTech University, which ISDI and ISME now form part of, in London on Thursday 7th April 2022.

Dr Indu Shahani, President of ATLAS SkillTech and Ms Kshipra Jain, Chief of Staff, visited Westminster’s Regent Street campus to introduce the institution and to discuss potential areas of collaboration. ATLAS SkillTech University is a self-financed state private university which prides itself on adopting a futuristic model focused on equipping the young Indian population with skills in emerging technologies and automation which are vital to the 21st century economy.

Dr Shahani has been supportive in hosting Westminster Working Cultures (WWC) visits and Global Sessions events in the past, and was awarded a Doctor of Letters by the Westminster Law School in 2009.

The MoU agreement was signed by Professor Alex Hughes, Westminster’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Employability and Global Engagement, with colleagues from across the University joining the meeting. The MoU between Westminster and ATLAS SkillTech serves as an agreement to explore progression, mobility, short courses, research, and other collaborative projects for the benefit of both staff and students at both institutions.
