Times Radio Presenter Kait Borsay shares career advice at Westminster Enterprise Network’s What It Takes event

Kait Borsay, Presenter at Times Radio, Presenter & Co-Host of The Offside Rule, and alumna of the Multimedia Journalism MA course, has shared her insights into how she has built a successful media broadcasting career over the past 15 years, as part of the What it Takes to get into broadcast media online event on 17 March.

The event was organised in partnership with the Westminster Enterprise Network (WeNetwork), and was attended by 32 Westminster students and recent graduates. As part of her presentation, Kait has shared how she got into broadcast media, insights into the media industry, and the crucial skills, and tools that broadcast journalist use.

Following the talk, a Q&A session was held, led by Zsofia Kunvari, Enterprise and Education Officer at the University of Westminster.

Talking about the event, one audience member said: “The speaker was very good at answering the questions we had, and the event was informative.”

The What it Takes event series features exciting and innovative alumni speakers sharing their experience and advice on a range of topics, including employability, personal and professional development. For the 2022-23 academic year, a series of in-person and online events have been organised.
