The article by Evening Standard discussed the recent flash floods in London, which they said were a wake-up call for the capital. It spoke to experts about ways we can combat these problems and save London from the climate emergency.
It explained that we must do more than hit our CO2 targets, and that we must adapt and adjust our ecological, social and economic systems.
Talking about how this might be achieved, Professor Neuman said: “We will need to invest billions of pounds in new and upgraded infrastructure,”.
