The listing aims to represent the most successful women in leadership in Asia, created in support of House of Rose Professional’s Mission 2029 for a Better World, in order to shape a better world via greater diversity and inclusion, leadership and business.

Julienne has 25 years of regional and global experience, with almost 17 years at Mastercard, where she has held various key roles. She was Mastercard’s first Singaporean woman Country Manager, appointed in 2009. During her six-year term, she led the team through the global financial crisis, her work was also crucial in launching many firsts in the region, including the first open-loop prepaid transit program in Singapore. As the Executive Vice President of the MTS, Julienne is part of the global leadership team, responsible for the strategy to develop a new business model for scale and compliance under the money transfer license.

Julienne also held various key leadership roles in Asia-Pacific covering Global Products & Solutions, Products & Innovation, Business Risk Compliance & Control and most recently, global Enterprise Partnerships, where she led the team to win a significant business with a global financial institution during the global pandemic in 2020.

Julienne serves as an advisor and coach to various start-ups in Asia-Pacific and is the current Vice-Chairperson of Junior Achievement Singapore, the world’s largest non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting financial literacy for young people.

In addition, she is a member of the International Coaching Federation since 2021 after obtaining her brain-based coaching certification from the Neuroleadership Institute.
Talking about the listing Julienne said: “I am filled with nothing but gratitude to be given this recognition as one of Asia’s Most Inspirational Women in Leadership. I am able to do what I do because so many incredible people have helped and supported me in my growth journey over the decades, thereby giving me strength and courage to lead and rise above the challenges that come my way. As leaders, we not only have the privilege but the responsibility to lift our young aspiring leaders up as we drive for a greater gender equity and equality for a more sustainable future.”

Professor Alex Hughes, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Global and Employability, said: “We are delighted to learn of this prestigious, richly deserved recognition accorded to alumna Julienne Loh. The Asia-Pacific region is one in which the University is growing its presence as a community of students, alumni and partnership connections, and we are very proud indeed to celebrate Julienne’s inspirational success.”
