The Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture is pleased to share its June news.

Professor Pippa Catterall was interviewed on BBC Radio Gloucestershire and by the Brazilian newspaper O Globo about Partygate. She was consulted by the National Resident Landlords Association on how to survey their members about managing LGBTQ+ tenancies. Also, on the theme of Pride Month, she spoke on inclusivity in public space at the Bartlett School (UCL), at the London Festival of Architecture, at HTA Architects and for the global property firm Savills.

Professor Guy Osborn was invited to present a paper for the Workshop of Human Rights at the University of Lausanne on 30 June. His paper, delivered with long-time collaborator Mark James was entitled ‘The Rise of Athlete Activism: Challenging the legitimacy of Rule 50 to restrict athletes’ freedom of expression’.
