Professor Andrew Groves, Professor of Fashion Design, was quoted in an article by The Wall Street Journal about Harry Styles’ fashion.
Talking about when David Bowie wore a dress in the early 70s, Professor Groves said it was: “really provocative because it was outside society’s norms.”
The article writes: “Even if Prof. Groves considers Mr. Styles’s floor-length dress unworthy of controversy, it did cause a several-day stir here in America that broke down largely along partisan lines. Alarmed conservative pundits tweeted lengthy screeds.”
