In the article, Abigail Swain offered advice on how to find the best placement during a sandwich course, and discussed networking.
Talking about when you meet a potential business contact, she said: “Take their business card and make a note of your conversation with them.
“It’s easy to forget what was talked about if you’ve spoken to so many people in the same day. Send them a personalised email, referencing the conversation you had – that’s more likely to get a reply.”
