Diploma in Translation Workshops

Overview

Course summary

Our Diploma in Translation (DipTrans) Workshops can be taken as a complement to our DipTrans course although they can also be free-standing as they cover topics of general interest to all translators.

The DipTrans is the oldest professional qualification of its kind, widely recognised by employers in the UK and around the world, and intended for working translators and for those who wish to embark on a career in professional translation. It is a postgraduate-level professional qualification offered by the IoL Educational Trust (IoLET).

Who are the workshops for?

If you are interested in translation and wish to find out more about various resources and skills needed to work in this field, you are invited to attend our programme of workshops.

The workshops are also open to outside participants – you don’t have to be enrolled on the DipTrans course to attend.

Each workshop has to be booked in advance and the fee paid before the event. No refund will be given if you are unable to attend a workshop. Students will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.

There are no courses running at this time, please check back later or contact us at to find out when the next course will run.

Please note that all workshops are subject to sufficient enrolment. Each workshop needs to recruit a minimum number of students in order to run. In the event of a workshop cancellation due to insufficient numbers of students registering, you will be informed in advance and you will receive a full refund of the fees paid for the course.
