When you give consent for an authorised Education Agent to represent you, you are agreeing for the University of Westminster to communicate with a nominated agent on your behalf during the application process.

What data will be collected?

Data shared between the University of Westminster and your Agent may include your name, date of birth, academic qualifications, employment status and history, birth certificate, passport, immigration history and financial documents (required as part of your CAS/visa application, if relevant). Only data required for the process of admission to the University will be required or shared.

What will we use your data for?

Any data you or your Agent provides will be used to process your application to the University of Westminster. Your data will be shared with the Agent and the University of Westminster’s recruitment and admissions teams. Your data will not be shared with any third party apart from the Agent. Your information will not be used for any other purpose.

Data Controller and collection

The organisation responsible for looking after your personal data (Data Controller) is the University of Westminster. Whilst the University of Westminster may share your data with the Agent, it will carefully control who is given access to that data. You and your Agent will be responsible for collecting data and passing it on to the University of Westminster.

Student Data Privacy Statement 

By supplying personal details to the University you consent to the University maintaining, recording, holding and using such personal data in accordance with the University’s Student Data Privacy Statement.

Can I change my consent with an Agent?

You can decide you do not want to continue your application to the University with the nominated agent and withdraw their consent. You can then continue the application independently or nominate a different agent to represent you.
