The Women of Westminster, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Working Group and FemIDEAS are delighted to announce our first workshop of 2024.
Join us for a short talk in Fyvie Hall, followed by mess-making and craftivism led by Sarah Li. Dr. Tina Sikka will also ask questions and guide a discussion around consent and sexual ethics based on her talk.
The objective is to cultivate conversation among staff and students, using discourse and creative arts practice to initiate nuanced critical discussions around consent.
We have also set up an alternative space/breakout room at 250 Regent Street if anyone wants to take a break. We will also have a list of free support services that everyone can access.
A safer space and code of conduct document will be emailed to everyone upon signing up.
We look forward to fostering insightful discussions and artistic expressions during this collaborative event.
