About this event

Co-organised by the RKEO and Library and Archives Service staff in collaboration with the Research Communities, this event is aimed at academic colleagues and doctoral researchers who are interested in learning about the benefits of Open Research publishing.

Opening up Research!

Open Research is about more than meeting funder requirements, it's about changing our culture to become more open, more equitable, more sustainable. At the University of Westminster, we have a team dedicated to helping researchers get their research out and make their research open.

At this session RKEO and Library staff will address the following topics:

  • What is "Open Research"?
  • Who’s who in Open Research at UoW?
  • How do you make your research open?

Join this event to find out more about what Open Research is and how RKEO and Library and Archive Services can support your research work, from the technical aspects to understanding why it's important for the University of Westminster.

We can help you on your research journey from creating a data management plan before starting your research journey through to final publication.

You will have a chance to express your views on the current open research landscape, and where it may be heading.
