This event will feature:
Art and Emerging Technology MA: the course explores experimental applications of creative technologies in art practice, the development of advanced digital skills, and their impact on society, culture, and the environment. You’ll be encouraged to consider technologies as an integral part of the creative process, embarking on a journey of exploration and seeking out innovative directions to expand and enrich your practice. The course responds to the demands of the creative industry for versatile, imaginative, and technologically adept arts graduates and places a strong emphasis on professional skills.
Expanded Photography MA: this course embraces photography as an expanded field, encompassing specialisms such as virtual photography, photobooks, documentary, art, fashion, editorial, photojournalism and writing photography. This course will motivate you into learning skills, developing knowledge and expanding expertise in the thinking and practice of photography. You’ll be empowered to produce new forms of independent practice and be inspired to work creatively, ethically and sustainably with expanded photography within the rapidly changing visual image culture and global environment.
Global Contemporary Arts MA: This is a practice-led course designed to nurture the professional, critical, and collaborative skills needed to pursue impactful, globally-aware and socially responsible artistic and curatorial practices. The course recognises that there has been a fundamental shift in the vision and purpose of contemporary art in global and translocal contexts. Informed by the work of the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM), the course will enable you to become a mobile and dynamic professional capable of developing artistic and curatorial practices that are sustainable, critical and imaginative responses to major global challenges.
