To mark Human Rights Day on 10 December, Latifa Akay from the non government organisation Maslaha gave a talk on her work to our human rights classes. She provided an insight into the experience of working as an activist on human rights, gender and social justice issues. It was a very inspirational morning and an opportunity for students to discuss human rights and gender issues with someone who works in the field.
