Talk from Dr Jolel Miah, Psychology, University of Westminster.

Dr Jolel Miah is a Senior Lecturer in Health Psychology, a Chartered Health Psychologist, and a board member of the British Psychological Society's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion committee. In 2014, he co-founded the mental health charity Our Minds Matter, dedicated to educating faith communities on the intersection of health, religion, culture, and faith and supporting well-being providers. His current research focuses on how individuals from faith communities interact with healthcare providers, particularly in mental health. 

In his upcoming talk, Jolel will share insights from his current research study including initial findings on the unique challenges and opportunities these communities face in accessing and navigating mental health care.
