These approved term dates are accurate at the time of publishing but can be subject to alteration. The term dates for previous years can be found at the bottom of this page.
Vacation periods
Student Vacation periods are free for students to pursue employment and other projects, with the exception of a one week period in July if students have a Referral or Deferral exam to sit.
Visa Students - There may be restrictions on working in the UK for those studying in the UK on a visa. If you are unsure, please contact the Library and Student Centre.
Postgraduate Students - The Summer Vacation does not apply to postgraduate students who are expected to work on taught modules or dissertations/projects during this time.
Non-standard course dates
Please note that some courses have non-standard course dates which are listed in Appendix A below.
