Disabled access at Marylebone Library

Our Marylebone Library is on three floors with access at First floor level. A lift provides access to all floors and the lift is card-operated for use only by users with special needs. If you require a card, please ask our security staff at the reception desk.

A ramp provides access to the Library entrance.

Assistive technology

Each of our libraries has an assistive technology area designed for students with disabilities.

Information about the equipment and software available can be found via the Disability Learning Support page and in our Access Guide for Disabled Students:

More details on all available software can be found on our Computer and study rooms page.

Emergency evacuations

If you have mobility problems, please let us know when you arrive so we're aware that you're in the building in case of an emergency evacuation.

Audible fire alarms are used in all University buildings. If you're unable to hear the fire alarm, please inform security staff when you first enter the building.

Need more help?

If you haven't yet done so, make sure you register with the University's Disability Learning Support team, who will assess your needs and make sure appropriate arrangements are in place for the duration of your studies.
