Our Cavendish Library is on three floors, with access at third-floor level. A ramp provides access from the pavement to the main entrance.
Access to the fourth and fifth floors can be organised too, but you'll need to register with our Disability Learning Support team first. They will assess your needs and make sure that appropriate support is in place during your studies.
Assistive technology
Each of our libraries has an assistive technology area designed for students with disabilities.
Information about the equipment and software available can be found via the Disability Learning Support page and in our Access Guide for Disabled Students:
More details on all available software can be found on our Computer and study rooms page.

Parking
We have two public disabled parking bays in front of the main building.
Emergency evacuations
If you have any mobility problems, let us know when you arrive, so that we're aware you're in the building in case of an emergency evacuation.
Audible fire alarms are used in all University buildings. If you're unable to hear the fire alarm, please inform security staff when you first enter the building.
