The Careers and Employability Service (CES) Team is looking forward to welcoming new and continuing students for the start of the new academic year!  

Throughout September and onward, your Careers Team will be sharing tailored information to support you with key career opportunities and initiatives at the University as well as top tips and advice to help with your job hunt plus various careers events.

They are also bringing you a brand new, more accessible careers system with even more support for you to access: explore the Engage system and add bookmark it today.

Wondering what’s in store for Semester 1?

  • Welcome week: come say hi to our Careers team, as well as other university colleagues and fellow students. Find out how you can get involved with different aspects of university life and get some freebies at the Welcome fair taking place on 19, 20 and 22 September across Marylebone and Harrow campuses
  • Career Fairs: Your Careers team will be organising plenty of careers events in the next few months, including the following – Built Environment Fair (12 October), Volunteering Fair (18 October), Inclusive Futures Virtual Careers Fair (1 November) and more!   • Westminster Employability Award (WEA): have you signed up to the Westminster Employability Award yet?   • Part-time work: looking to support yourself financially and gain some transferable skills while studying?   • Engage: Did you know that as a Westminster student you have access to online job listings and events, updated weekly, as well as resources to support you with your job applications? You can also book 1-to-1 appointments with one of our friendly career consultants for further help with your job hunt, including CV, interview and cover letter writing support.
