The University has launched an additional targeted financial assistance scheme for students experiencing hardship because of the increased cost of living.
The ‘Cost of Living Assistance Scheme’ was developed in conjunction with the Students’ Union and supports students facing additional costs due to the cost-of-living crisis, specifically for students who are struggling with increased energy bills and rent/mortgage costs.
The scheme is open to fully enrolled undergraduate and postgraduate taught and research students who can demonstrate that they are impacted by increased energy costs and housing costs.
Applicants who meet the criteria and provide the required evidence will be eligible for a £300 one-off grant paid directly into their bank account.
