Support for students observing Ramadan during their studies

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to those observing this significant period of fasting, prayer, and reflection. 

At the University of Westminster, we are committed to supporting our Muslim students throughout this spiritual time and ensuring their wellbeing.

We understand that Ramadan can present unique challenges, especially with academic commitments and timetabled activities. If you would like to discuss this, please reach out to your personal tutors, module leaders or the Student Centre. We aim to be as accommodating as possible while maintaining a balance between academic responsibilities and religious observance.

For those who require time during activities at sunset to break their fast and pray, please inform your tutor with as much advance notice as possible, so that arrangements can be managed. We encourage open communication to ensure that your needs are considered in a respectful and understanding manner.
