Join us to celebrate University Mental Health Day on Thursday 14 March and experience the power of creativity and connection in supporting your mental health.
University Mental Health Day is a national campaign that shines a spotlight on student mental health. Run by the charity Student Minds, the campaign aims to encourage conversations, raise awareness and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
Celebration on the day
In celebration of this day, a series of events and activities will take place across the University for our community to engage with:
- ‘Hopeful Horizons: Mental Health Support Fair’ – 14 Thursday, 11am-2pm at Marylebone Foyer and Harrow Forum
- Yoga Session – 14 March, 2:30-3:30pm at Marylebone campus
- Boxing Session – 14 March, 1-2:30pm at Harrow sports hall
- Mindful Clay-Making Workshop - In partnership with UWSU – Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 March, 2-5pm at Harrow and Marylebone campuses

GP practices will also be across our sites during the day, with Premier Medical Centre present at Harrow campus, and Gower Street Practice at Marylebone campus. They will be here to answer any questions and provide health information regarding accessing NHS services. Join us on the day to discover the connected community between GPs and the University of Westminster and to learn more about the range of resources and support open to students.

A wide range of wellbeing events can be found on the Student Hub throughout the year. This includes mental health support, building confidence, work skills and many more.

We are also providing free access to the Feeling good platform, a positive mental wellbeing app that will accompany you through your student journey. It is designed to enhance mental clarity and focus to reach optimal performance:
