If you’re facing additional costs because of the cost-of-living crisis, the University’s Cost-of-Living Assistance Scheme is here to help.
About the scheme
The University has reopened the Cost-of-Living Assistance Scheme to help students facing additional costs due to the cost-of-living crisis.
A £300 one-off grant (a grant does not need to be paid back) will be awarded to students who are struggling to pay their day-to-day expenses and accommodation costs.
The scheme is open to fully enrolled UK and International undergraduate and postgraduate taught and research students.
To be eligible for the grant, you must explain how you have been affected by the cost-of-living crisis. You will need to upload your accommodation contract or tenancy/mortgage agreements (if you live at home with parents, you can upload their accommodation contract).
You must also upload bank statements from all your bank accounts for the last two months from the date of your application (including savings accounts).
It's super easy to apply, and all applications will be considered, regardless of the criteria.
