Course delivery
Teaching and assessment
As the Practitioner course follows on from the PRINCE2® 7 Foundation course, where we introduce the method, its philosophy and its terminology, it focuses on the more intricate aspects of the method. Based on a case study, we will put the method into practice through a series of challenging questions that mirror the questions of the formal exam.
The course consists of a series of classroom lectures and group exercises over 2 days, totalling 14 contact hours. The lectures introduce the method’s terminology, followed by discussions of the case studies that explain how to use the method in practice. We will provide supplementary learning material via our online learning environment. At the end of each day, multiple-choice questions will be used to recap the day’s learning as preparation for the exam.
The exam is a PeopleCert Online Proctored Exam. You will get an exam voucher from us and you then book your exam with PeopleCert, at a date of your choosing. Your PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner exam must be sat within six weeks of the end of your course.
For your online proctored exam, you must ensure your computer and the room you choose to take your exam in meet the minimum requirements. More information can be found on the PeopleCert websiteGo to the PeopleCert website.
The exam is open book, 150 minutes long, and consists of 70 objective testing questions. The pass mark is 60% and it leads to the official PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner certificate.
